We strive to keep our presentation historically accurate and listener friendly. Our presentations utilize a variety of sighthounds and are audience interactive. We welcome questions from young and old alike. There are no silly questions in regard to the hounds or their history. We are able to change the scope of the information depending on the audience and/or event.
We introduce our presentation by immediately involving the audience. Starting with very early history, (there will be a quiz later...GOTTCHA!) we move from 3000 B.C. to present day recounting legends while travelling forward in time. We will explain not only what these mighty beasts hunted, but how they brought down a kill. We delve into the techniques used by the hunters when utilizing the dogs, including what weapons were used. You will also see how gentle the dogs can be, taking small bits of meat directly from our lips.
We always spend the last portion of our presentation on safety in regards to children. It is our hope that at least one child goes home from our presentation with a bit more knowledge on dog behaviour and how to safely interact with canines.
